“Ready or Not” is a video game where you become a member of a SWAT team, just like the police. This is a tactical first-person shooter, which means you’ll use strategy and think carefully about how to respond to different situations. The game is set in a fictional city in California called Los Sueños, where a lot of crime occurs.

This game comes in different stages. First, it hit Early Access on Steam in December 2021. It will then be fully released in December 2023. People who have played it love the feel and gameplay of the game. They said it felt a lot like Sierra Entertainment’s old SWAT game, which many people loved. How to end a mission when you are ready or not ready?
In “Ready or Not”, completing all main objectives will end the mission. After completing all the main missions, a prompt will pop up in the upper left corner asking if you want to complete it. You press “Y” to mean “yes,” but remember to complete any additional tasks before saying “yes” as well.
If you’re playing alone, the game may also automatically take you to the results screen when everything is complete, even if you didn’t press “Y”. To get a better score, it’s better to complete all extra objectives, arrest all suspects and civilians, and collect all evidence.
Doing these things well will ultimately get you better grades. Higher levels unlock cool stuff like new outfits, gear, or tattoos. But if your goal is just to unlock new levels, any grade other than “F” will do.

If you’re playing alone as the commander, you can also end the game early by returning to where you started. When you get there, hold down the “F” key to exit with the squad members still alive. This is one way to exit early, but exiting from the menu may stress out your officers, and some may even leave the team.
Remember that officers in the game have special skills. Some are better at making people surrender, some can break down quicker, and some have skills that help the health or accuracy of the entire squad. There are also characteristics that can reduce stress or make the suspect more likely to give up.

Ready or Not is about being part of a SWAT team and taking down bad guys. In this game, you play as David “Judge” Beaumont, the leader of the team. You have a lot of cool guns to choose from: rifles, submachine guns, shotguns and pistols. You can make them completely your own by adding scopes, accessories and even suppressors. You also have gadgets like stun grenades and shields to help you.
Because you are a police officer, it’s not just about explosions. The game wants you to capture the bad guys alive. This means you can use options like tasers and pepper spray to take them down without doing much damage. You get more points when you arrest them instead of knocking them down. But it’s not always easy – non-lethal things can sometimes cause unexpected harm. When you’re dealing with a suspect, it’s wise to put handcuffs on them. Sometimes they will pretend to be indifferent and then try to surprise you, so you have to be careful. If you must use deadly force, the game recommends you aim for the center of the body.

Ready or not to develop
The production journey of “Ready or Not” began as early as June 2016. In May 2017, they showed off a trailer on YouTube to build excitement and give everyone a taste of what was to come. But ahead of the big launch, they let a special group of backers try out an early version of the game in August 2019.
Then, things got even more exciting in April 2020, when they invited these backers and some YouTubers to test out a special part of the game where players play against each other. They can share what they see, making players even more excited. Finally, the game was released in Steam Early Access on December 17, 2021. They made some major changes for this final version.
They are working on improving non-lethal equipment, paying more attention to the mental health of police officers in the game, and allowing different law enforcement teams to work better together. In addition, they also gave the police officers in the game more unique personalities. In this final version, the computer-controlled characters have become even smarter. They can now do things on their own, such as capture suspects and take cover, without the player having to constantly give them instructions like in older SWAT 3 games.
