Kiryu’s Dominance in Yakuza: Infinite Fortune

It’s no surprise that the legendary Dojima Dragon, Kazuma Kiryu, is spotlighted as the strongest team member in Yakuza: Infinite Fortune. In this game, players can experience Kiryu’s strength in a new turn-based combat system that seamlessly adapts to his classic fighting style. The Dragon of Dojima class offers exceptional versatility, allowing Kiryu to switch seamlessly between three combat styles, making him the ideal tank to lead his team through a variety of challenges.

Kasuga’s great power and versatility

Although Kasuga Ichiban’s strength is not at the level of Kiryu, it turns out that Kasuga Ichiban is a force that cannot be ignored. His unique hero job gives Kasuga the flexibility to take on almost any role within the party, a valuable asset considering he cannot be replaced. Additionally, Kasuga’s access to the exclusive Sujimancer job adds an extra layer of versatility, allowing him to summon captured Sujimon to perform different combat strategies, solidifying his status as an extremely adaptable party member.

Eric Tomizawa’s amazing fighting ability

Eric Tomizawa may not have Kiryu’s legendary status or the inner strength of Kasuga, but players were pleasantly surprised by his fighting prowess in Yakuza: Infinite Fortune. While working as a taxi driver, Tomizawa showed unexpected versatility, utilizing a variety of elemental offensive magic skills, fueled by the growth of his high magic stats. Additionally, taking on the Outlaw class further utilizes his impressive magical properties, allowing area attacks to be used effectively against multiple enemies.

Class A

Seonhee makes her debut as a playable character

Sun-hee played a major role in Yakuza: Like a Dragon, but in Yakuza: Infinite Fortune players can finally control her as a party member. Although Seonhee only became available in Chapter 8, she proved to be an excellent addition with high DPS potential. Her default Assassin class provides a solid foundation, but her true power shines in the Night Queen class, which enhances her physical abilities and grants valuable support skills.

Fujinomiya Chitose’s support expertise

A newcomer to the series, Chitose brings a valuable team-building option to players looking for a reliable support character. Her default heiress class offers commendable support abilities, including party healing and enemy status infliction. However, she does excel in either butler or idol work, extending her repertoire with magical abilities in the former and enhancing her support skills in the latter.

Yu Nanba’s role in battle is enhanced

Namba continues to reprise his role in Yakuza: Like a Dragon, but he’s even more prominent in Yakuza: Infinite Fortune due to the added mechanics. Like Tomizawa, Nanba focuses on magic skills, and his default bum job provides powerful area-of-effect abilities. While Nanba may not be able to match Tomizawa’s skill variety, his high magic stats are still a valuable asset that players can utilize in battle.

Class B

Zhao Tianyou’s advantages and limitations

Zhao Tianyou plays a powerful physical attacker in Yakuza: Riches, although he was added late in the game. His default gangster job highlights his proficiency with a blade and high agility. The best uses for Zhao include transitioning into the chef position and gaining the Blunt Weapon and Blade skills, which enhance his offensive abilities and overall versatility.

Koichi Adachi’s role as a tank

Koichi Adachi arrives in Chapter 7, playing a similar role to Kiryu but lacking the same functionality. His default Detective class functions primarily as a tank, excelling in defense at the expense of agility. Converting Adachi into a samurai position enhances offense and defense, but he’s still primarily suited to absorbing hits rather than excelling in other roles.

Saeko Mukoda’s support potential

Saeko Mukada, introduced in Chapter 8, has the ability to take on a supporting role within the party, although not as effectively as a character like Chitose. Hampered by her default barmaid job, Saeko really excels when she’s assigned to a stronger supporting category like Idol. This transition equips her with the necessary skills to expertly support the team in the endgame challenges of Yakuza: Infinite Fortune.

Class C

Han Joong-ki’s tardiness and fighting potential

Han Jun-ki becomes a powerful warrior by default as a killer. However, his late arrival into the game creates challenges for players looking to effectively integrate him into their teams. While the Outlaw class offers Joongi the most potential, since he’s introduced late in the game, near the end of the game, investing time in grinding this class out may not be worth it.
